I bought my first mini dachshund in 1994. Princess was my one and only doxie for 10 years. She was such a joy in my life and loving member of our family for over 15 years. Over the years I had thought about adding to my doxie family, but was so content with Princess that I didn't pursue that thought. I had found that dachshunds were so smart and such great companions. Princess loved to play ball and once you started playing she would not give up. She was such a loyal loving family member. Anyone who has owned a dachshund understands what I mean by that.
In 2004 my husband and I decided that we couldn't be without a dachshund should anything happen to Princess. We started our search for a new addition to our family. At that point I became interested in breeding. After some research into breeding and deciding on what color and coat I wanted from my first breeding pair, I bought my first sire and dam.
Over the years I have had smooth and long haired miniature dachshunds. Also, several different colors and markings. I have had CKC and AKC registered dogs, but now only breed AKC. With so many different colors, coats and markings anyone can see why you can't just have one miniature dachshund.
Along with our AKC registered males and females our family also includes our rescue doxie, Polly. The tiniest of the bunch is Twinkie, a dilute red long hair female. After we had purchased her she forgot to grow. At a whopping 6.5 pounds we felt she was to small to breed and had her spayed.
Our AKC registered breeding female is Lizzie - long hair Black and Tan Silver Dapple and our future mommy is Gabby - long hair red brindle. Our AKC registered stud males are Magoo - long hair Red and Ransom - long hair Black & Tan. Both of our males carry for UK cream genes.
All of our dogs live in our house. They have a big fenced in back yard to run and play in. Our "babies" as we call them are just like our kids. They are spoiled rotten! As with the adult dogs, all of the puppies are in our house. They are born in our home and raised with lots of loving care. Every puppy is snuggled, loved and pre-spoiled. We only sell our puppies to loving, responsible, caring homes. Pedigrees for my breeding males and females are available upon request.
Our goal is to breed minature dachhunds with excellent conformity and temperments. We raise healthy, happy puppies. They will be vet checked and up to date on their shots and wormings when they are ready to go to their new loving forever homes. We welcome visitors to come and meet our dogs and puppies before deciding to purchase one. All puppies are sold with a Sales Agreement. Please read the copy on this site.
Shipping is available for an additional charge. As an alternative to shipping to states around Ohio I am willing to split drive time to deliver the puppy. Call and ask for details.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 will hold a puppy for you. Payments must be made by Money Order, Cashiers Check or cash. No puppy is considered sold without a financial agreement.
